Professional Support
The Pediatric Residency Program has many professional support resources including the following:
- Paid AAP membership for all residents
- Access to PREP board review questions and the NEJM Knowledge+ board review questions for all residents across all years
- Pediatrics and Pediatrics in Review journals
- Book money support that residents typically use to pay for USMLE step exam fees, preparation books, or pediatric textbooks. MedStudy is gifted to graduating residents.
- Access to Brown’s full library resources including free access to Lexicomp and most journal articles (if not immediately accessible, may be requested free of charge)
- - Annual Conference Stipend available to residents who present academic work at regional and national conferences.
- Therapy support: All incoming interns are provided a therapist. The residency pays for the 1st visit. After the first visit and if the resident continues, the resident’s insurance is then used
