Pediatrics Residency

Candida grew up in Alabama. Candida attended nursing school in Nashville, TN, where she graduated with her RN, BSN. Her experiences throughout nursing school provided her with the exposure needed to realize that she wanted to pursue her childhood dream of becoming a doctor. Candida then moved to New York City, where she completed her post-baccalaureate studies in premedical sciences at Columbia University, before matriculating at Mount Sinai’s medical school. She is beyond excited to continue her training at Brown in the Triple Board program and start her new journey in living in Providence. In her free time, Candida enjoys playing music, traveling, and spending time with loved ones.
