Kevin also fell in love with research during college after working for two years in an organic chemistry research lab. After graduating, he spent two years working as a clinical research coordinator at Massachusetts General Hospital in adult electrophysiology before matriculating into medical school. Kevin feels incredibly grateful for his medical experience and training at Tulane and for the patients and families he was privileged to serve during his time in New Orleans. During his medical school training, he continued his working in clinical research by investigating pediatric children with medical complex conditions and worked in the community learning about different social determinants of health. He also worked in the school’s culinary teaching kitchen, where he taught children in the community how to cook and eat nutritious meals. Kevin is most excited to return home to New England and join Brown because he felt the level of mentorship, community, and support at Brown’s Pediatric Residency program was unmatched during his interview session. In his free time, Kevin likes to be outdoors kayaking, fishing, and skiing, in addition to cooking, playing music, and snuggling his cat Phoebe.
