Pediatrics Residency

Kiarra is from Long Island, New York. She pursued her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University, majoring in Integrative Neuroscience. Her interest in Global Health led her to volunteer in Nicaragua twice during her undergraduate years, participating in public health and medical brigades. After graduation, Kiarra furthered her education and understanding of bioethics by completing the Bioethics Cross-Cultural Education Program in Bangkok, Thailand. She also worked as an ABA Behavioral technician, assisting children with behavioral disorders in developing communication and life skills. During her final gap year, Kiarra completed a post-baccalaureate program and matriculated into Drexel University College of Medicine. There, she was recognized by her peers as a member of the Golden Humanism Honor Society. In medical school, Kiarra focused on serving vulnerable populations in Philadelphia as a Women’s Health Scholar. She also dedicated her time to supporting underrepresented students and mentoring pre-medical students through the Student National Medical Association. Outside of her medical studies, Kiarra enjoys exploring new restaurants, creating nutritious meal prep recipes, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She also loves to stay active by participating in workout classes like pilates and kickboxing.
