Pediatrics Residency

Leen grew up in Wichita, KS. She attended college at the University of Chicago where she studied Biological Sciences and Health and Society and grew interested in social determinants of health, especially as they pertained to refugee and immigrant communities. These interests brought her to Emory University for medical school. There, she was involved in community health initiatives addressing and research examining refugee and immigrant chronic disease burden and access to quality healthcare. For fun, she enjoys experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, talking through movies with friends, and exploring local coffee shops.
