Pediatrics Residency

Natalie is from Queens, NY. She went to college at Johns Hopkins University where she majored in behavioral biology and psychology and first discovered her love for medicine. She was part of child development and appetite research labs and realized how fulfilling it is to work with kids and learn about how mental and physical factors can affect their development and growth. After she graduated, she worked as a medical assistant and scribe at an urgent care in Manhattan, which solidified her desire to pursue medicine. Natalie then attended medical school at the University of Vermont and worked on projects in the NICU and on debriefing in the clinical setting after distressing patient cases. She feels incredibly privileged to be joining the pediatrics field and to continue her training at Brown.

Her pediatric interests include neonatology, hospital medicine, and gastroenterology and she also hopes to be involved in quality improvement work and community outreach. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys watching tennis, reading historical fiction, trying new desserts, and being with her family, friends, and her mini poodle, Isla. She is so excited to be joining the Hasbro family!
