Biography

Nora was born in Ft. Lauderdale, FL, and grew up in Port-Au-Prince, Haiti, until 2003, when she and her family emigrated to Florida. She attended University of South Florida, where she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in Psychology and a BS in Biomedical Sciences. She took two gap years where she explored a career in teaching, working first as a preschool closing manager and then as an online English teacher. She later attended California University of Science and Medicine, where she graduated with an MS in Biomedical Sciences and was awarded an Academic Achievement award for the highest GPA. In medical school, she volunteered in various community clinics, delved into various research projects, and supported her class through class committees and mentorship.
Nora is excited to join the Brown Med-Peds family and looks forward to supporting the patient population in RI. She enjoys hiking, visiting botanical gardens, reading, painting, Kdramas, writing, and seeking new teas and health tonics.
